Deleting Your GolfSalt Account

You can delete your GolfSalt account and personal data at any time. This page explains how to do it, what gets deleted, and what we are required to keep.

Delete your account from the app

1. Open GolfSalt and sign in.
2. Open the More menu and tap Delete Account (also available under Edit Profile, and from the account menu on the web).
3. Review what will be deleted, then tap “Permanently delete my account.”
4. Confirm. Your account is closed and your data is permanently deleted.

You can do the same on the web: sign in at golfsalt.ai, open your account settings, and choose “Delete my account.”

Prefer we do it for you?

Email [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We’ll verify that you own the account, complete the deletion within 30 days, and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove the personal data associated with it, including:

• Your profile, preferences, and goals
• Rounds, practice sessions, shots, and uploaded swing videos
• Equipment and bag details
• Coaching conversations and AI analysis
• Any health and fitness data you connected

What we keep, and for how long

We may retain a limited set of records when the law requires it or to protect against fraud — for example, transaction and billing records needed for tax and accounting. These are kept only as long as required, are not used for coaching or marketing, and are deleted on a defined retention schedule. Routine encrypted backups are purged on a rolling basis (typically within 30–90 days), after which residual copies are overwritten.
