Is GolfSalt a score tracker or a coach?
A coach. Score trackers tell you what happened; GolfSalt tells you why it happened and what to do about it. Tracking is only the input — the value is the personalized coaching, analysis, and practice plans you get back.
Do I need a launch monitor or special equipment to use GolfSalt?
No. Most golfers just log their rounds and practice. If you own a launch monitor or simulator you can import that data too — GolfSalt auto-detects the common formats — but it works with whatever data you provide and the clubs you already own.
Can GolfSalt replace my golf pro?
For some golfers, some of the time. A PGA professional watching you in person sees things AI cannot yet, so GolfSalt is not a replacement for hands-on swing work. It is strongest at continuity, memory, data analysis, and always-on availability, which is why many golfers use both.
