Effective Date: June 9, 2026 — Version 1.0
This Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) explains how Stranlabs LLC, doing business as GolfSaltAI (“GolfSalt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles cancellations and refunds for paid subscriptions to the GolfSaltAI application and website at golfsalt.ai (the “Service”). It supplements, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service (in particular Section 4, Subscriptions and Billing) and Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
The Service is offered on a recurring subscription basis. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) unless you cancel before the renewal date.
You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by emailing us at [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will keep access to the Service until the end of the period you have already paid for, and you will not be charged again after that period ends.
Because cancelling stops all future charges and preserves your access through the end of the paid period, we generally do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods. Once a billing period has begun, the fee for that period is non-refundable except where required by applicable law (see Section 3) or where we choose to make an exception (see Section 4).
This standard policy does not limit or override any non-waivable statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the law of your country of residence.
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the date your subscription begins, without giving any reason, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
The Service is digital content and an online service supplied immediately. When you subscribe, you are asked to expressly request that we begin providing the Service straight away and to acknowledge that, by doing so, you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed, and that for ongoing supply your right ends as performance progresses. This is permitted under Article 16(m) of the Consumer Rights Directive.
If you withdraw within the 14-day period before the Service has been fully performed, you may be required to pay an amount proportionate to what you have used up to the point you informed us of your withdrawal; we will refund the remainder.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, email [email protected] with a clear statement of your decision to withdraw before the 14-day period expires. We will process any refund due using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, without undue delay.
Where your payment was processed by our Merchant of Record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (see Section 5), Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Conditions also apply, and you may submit your withdrawal or refund request to us or directly to Paddle. For all other payments, contact us and we will process your request with our payment provider.
Outside of the situations described above, refunds are granted at our discretion. We will review reasonable requests — for example, a duplicate charge, a billing error, an accidental renewal you contact us about promptly, or a sustained technical problem that prevented you from using the Service. To request a discretionary refund, email [email protected] with your account email and a description of the issue.
Depending on your region and when you subscribed, your payment is handled by one of the following processors. The processor that applied to your purchase is shown on your payment receipt, which controls if there is any ambiguity:
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Depending on the payment provider and your bank, it may take several business days for a refund to appear on your statement.
If you purchased or renewed your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play, that purchase is processed by Apple or Google — not by Stripe or Paddle — and refunds for it are governed by the applicable app store’s policies. We are unable to issue refunds for app store purchases directly. You should request those refunds through:
You manage and cancel an app store subscription through your Apple or Google account settings. Statutory consumer rights, where they apply, are not affected by where you purchased.
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first at [email protected] — we can usually resolve billing issues faster than a bank dispute. We reserve the right to suspend accounts associated with fraudulent or unwarranted chargebacks.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “Effective Date” and version number at the top of this page. Changes do not affect a refund right that had already accrued before the change took effect.
