For high school & college golf coaches
You have a dozen players, a few hours a week, and a tournament on Thursday. GolfSalt gives you the season, the lineup, the results and a game plan for every event — and gives every player comprehensive coaching between practices that works from the plan you set.
High school and college golf runs on seasons, tournaments and lineups. So does the team side of GolfSalt.
Set the dates and your counting format once (“5 play, best 4 count”, or whatever your conference uses) and every tournament inherits it. Change it for a single event when you need to.
Course, tee, dates and format for every event, including multi-day ones. Record your finish and the field size when it's over.
Put players in positions by hand and swap them in one save. Each player gets the round scheduled in their own app for every day of the event.
Ask for a plan before the event: how to play the course as a squad, the holes that decide it, this week's practice, and a line for each player in the lineup.
Each player's score and card stats, the team score under your counting rule, day by day, and a hole-by-hole map of where the strokes went.
Team score to par event by event, squad putting and greens across the season, and a season line for every player.
Example
5 play, best 4 count
Where the strokes went
Holes 7 and 14 cost the squad 9 strokes between them. Three of four counting cards made double or worse on 14.
You can't be at the range with all of them. Every player on your roster gets comprehensive golf coaching of their own, and you can see the work.
Handicap, last round, rounds played and practice for every player on one screen, plus who hasn't joined yet, who's waiting on a parent, and who hasn't answered your access request.
Paste your join link and each player signs up, takes a seat and chooses what to share, on one page. Or paste a list of emails and we send it for you.
A player under 18 gives a parent's email. We explain what GolfSalt is and what you'd see, and the account opens when the parent approves.
Message a player about a specific round or practice session, so the conversation stays attached to what it's about. Messaging stays off for players under 18.
Every shared round with putts, greens, fairways and penalties, and the analysis your player got after it.
Range, putting, short game and simulator sessions: what they worked on, when, and for how long.
Handicap trend, scoring and the goals your player set for themselves. That last one usually takes six lessons to learn.
Players film their swing on a phone. You see the video along with the measurements your player sees.
Every player gets a practice plan built from their own rounds. Comment on it and the next update works from your direction.
On the morning of an event, your player is reminded it's a tournament, which team and which position, with prep for the course and a warm-up for the day.
A player films a drill and gets a check against the drill's own checkpoints: what's right, the one thing to change, and a cue for the next rep.
Questions at 9pm before a qualifier get answered from that player's own rounds, practice and bag, not generic internet tips.
Being on your roster doesn't hand you a player's golf. They answer your access request permission by permission, choose which rounds are shared, and can take access back whenever they want. For players under 18, a parent approves first. Trust earned that way holds up better than trust assumed.
About ten minutes, start to first player.
School or program, how many players, your season and where you play. We read every one personally.
We talk through your roster and the courses on your schedule, then put a price together for your team.
Each player signs up, takes a seat and chooses what to share with you on one page.
Add your tournaments, name the lineups, and ask for a game plan before each event.
Watch the work between practices, steer each player's plan, and read where the strokes went after every event.
Pricing
One payment covers your roster for the season. Tell us about your team and we'll put a price together for your program.
You get a join link to paste into the team chat. Each player opens it, creates an account (or signs in), takes a seat on your roster and chooses what to share with you — all on one page. You can also paste a list of emails and we send the link for you.
A player under 18 enters a parent or guardian's email when they join. We email the parent a plain explanation of what GolfSalt is and what you'd see, and the account opens when they approve. Until then the player shows on your roster as waiting on a parent. Messaging between a coach and a player under 18 stays off. GolfSalt is for golfers 13 and over.
Only what each player chooses to share. Joining your roster doesn't give you access to anything on its own. Each player answers your access request permission by permission: rounds, practice, stats, goals, swing video, practice plans. They also choose which rounds are shared, and a tournament round is shared by default so the team score works. A player can withdraw access whenever they want.
No. You set the lineup and the positions, by hand. Nothing in GolfSalt ranks your players or tells you who should play. We make the event visible, help the squad prepare for the course, and show you what happened afterwards. The call is yours.
$500 covers 5 players for a season of about 5 months, paid once. Extra seats are $100 each. Need a longer season or a bigger roster? Ask us about a program deal.
Your players' seats pause, and nothing is deleted: their rounds, practice and coaching history stay exactly where they are. You'll get a renewal offer before the end of the season, and any player who wants to keep going over the summer can carry on with their own membership.
No. Team results, season trends and squad stats are built from the scorecard: score, putts, greens, fairways and penalties, hole by hole. Players can bring in launch monitor or simulator data if they have it, but nothing on the team side depends on it.
No. You watch the swing, read the player, set the lineup and make the call. GolfSalt carries the work between practices: remembering every round, keeping practice pointed at the right things, and answering the 9pm questions. Your players get more coaching, and you get to see it.
The season pass is built for school and college teams. The same coach tools (player pages, coaching threads, practice plan comments, swing video) work for individual students — tell us about your practice and we'll set you up the right way.
Every player on a team is different, and so is every coach. There will always be a place for the coach who sets the lineup and knows the kid. We built GolfSalt so that coach can reach every player, every week of the season.
